I am…..many things. A wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, friend, advocate, champion, cheerleader, listener, troubadour, storyteller, songwriter, vocalist, musician, office goddess, family business owner, licensed clinical social worker, daydreamer, cook.
I make pretty things with yarn and am addicted to books. I like to bake bread from scratch. I know how to read standard music notation, darn socks, write Gregg shorthand, and can manage double-entry bookkeeping (thanks, Mom) when I must. Life is an endless source of new and amazing things, and God definitely has a sense of humor.
I sing blues, jazz, gospel, folk, classical, rock, plainsong and Jewish liturgical music. I have a music ministry that is very dear to my heart: http://www.women-at-the-well.com . For blues offerings, visit http://www.bluemerlot.com .

Hi Brenda, you’re awesome! It’s interesting how serious people make God seem so much of the time. It seems we don’t often think about what a playful and humorous God He can be 🙂
